Behind Ankari
Ankari is shaped through the work of Sofia in collaboration with a small circle of co-creators who help anchor its symbolic language into form.
Ankari draws from the Quechua language of the Andes, where it is associated with wind and breath. It evokes flow, renewal and the unseen force that carries transformation.
In the Andean regions of Peru, wind is more than air in motion. It is a messenger, moving between what is visible and what is not, carrying messages, intentions and wisdom. It is a force of movement, clearing what is stagnant and creating space for new beginnings. It reminds us that life moves in cycles, and that change, though often unseen, is always present.
Ankari holds this same essence.
Over time, Ankari has come to form a 'temenos', a dedicated field of contemplation and connection. A space for those seeking clarity, presence and a deeper understanding of themselves. A space to recognise the patterns shaping a life and return to one’s natural rhythm.

Sofia
Founder · Holistic Guide
Sofia is the founder of Ankari and the integrative guide behind its work. Her practice centres on helping people reconnect with their natural rhythm and inner alignment through a deeply attuned yet grounded approach. Rather than seeking to “fix” what is broken, Sofia’s work gently reveals the deeper patterns shaping a person’s life, supporting a return to wholeness, clarity and trust.
Drawing on the wisdom of nature, Sofia works with tools such as heart readings, flower and mineral essences, hydrolats, and universal blueprints. Her work often feels like a process of energetic weaving. Bringing together the visible and invisible threads of a person’s being so that they may reconnect with their essence and move through life with greater harmony.
At the heart of Sofia’s practice is a simple intention: to create a space where people feel recognised, supported and gently guided back to their own inner wisdom.
Amber
Tattoo Artist · Ceremonial Support
Amber is deeply attuned and experienced in her work, collaborating with Ankari to bring Individual and Universal Blueprints into their physical form not merely in ink, but as an energetic transmission.
Working with a refined and intuitive approach, Amber translates the symbolic language of the blueprints into delicate, permanent artwork carried on the body. Her work honours the blueprint as both a personal symbol and a living reminder of the deeper pattern revealed through the Ankari journey.
Amber works from Luna Moth Tattoo Studio / Studio Iki, where she specialises in thoughtful, intentional tattoo work that respects both the symbolic and aesthetic dimensions of the design.
